Virtual reality, always-on display for iPhone and the M2 chip: what we expect from WWDC 2022

Apple will celebrate from this Monday, June 6, a new edition of the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC), its maximum announcement fair for the software that dominates its devices.

The WWDC 2022, itself, is full of rumors, but it seems to be governed by what would be its new foray: virtual reality. What do we hope to see this day?

RealityOS for virtual reality

The announcement that seems to fall from maturity is the formalization of Apple’s work in virtual and augmented reality, with the launch of its own system for it.

Reports indicate that the name for said software would be RealityOS, an operating system that would be present in the company’s own lenses dedicated to this area. Although it is true, it is not expected to see these devices physically at the conference, it would be possible to see the previous work.
