The WhatsApp application has announced that on March 31, 2022 it will stop working for some cell phones. The messaging application notified that this situation will occur for two reasons: that mobile devices no longer have an efficient operating system or because users have violated app policies.
Why will WhatsApp stop working on some cell phones?
On the WhatsApp website, the people who will be left without the application for violating its policies are detailed, they are those who commit errors such as spamming, exchanging false news and using modified apps, among others.
It is also explained that cell phones that have the Android 4.1 operating system and below will also be left without the WhatsApp application, since it is no longer compatible with the application because it is obsolete.
For its part, the business portal has been in charge of revealing a list of devices that will be left without WhatsApp as of April 1, 2022, which includes both Android and iPhone cell phones.
