IPhone owners running iOS 8 or earlier are concerned.
This is bad news for many users of the courier application. WhatsApp will stop working on their smartphone too old since February 1st.
As of this date, it will no longer be possible to create an account or recheck your account from an iOS 8 device. Owners of iPhone still running on this version of iOS or an earlier version are encouraged to update their device by going to the site of the Apple. They will be able to see if their phone is compatible with a newer version of the operating system. If this is not the case, it will be necessary to make a cross on WhatsApp.
IOS 8 is now 6 years old. Since its launch, many have been new versions proposed by the Apple. And although it continues to support its old operating systems, this is also limited in time.
WhatsApp’s decision also affects smartphone owners in a dated version of Android, as well as users of Windows Phone phones, well when in this case, the deadline is December 31, 2019.
If you still want to keep your discussions, you can do it by downloading them before February 1st. To do this, tap the three small dots at the top right in a conversation and select “More”. Then press “Export Discussion”. You will be able to keep all of your conversation outside of WhatsApp.
