IOS version 14.5 will include 217 new emojis for iPhone users.
Emojipedia detailed how emojis will change with the update, currently in beta.
Faces
Only three new faces will be added to the emojis: one exhaling, one with spiraling eyes, and one among the clouds.
Hearts
Two new hearts: one on fire and one bandaged.
Couples and gender
Couples emojis now allow for various skin tones. According to Emojipedia, 200 of the 217 new emojis comprise the new combinations.
Woman with Beard
In iOS 14.5 it will also be possible to send emojis of a woman with a beard.
Syringe
With vaccinations against COVID-19 taking place in much of the world, iOS 14.5 will update the syringe emoji: it will stop having blood.
Headphone
The headphone emoji will be replaced by AirPods Max.
